Early Life

Born by Olori, Grace Olayiwola Oladepe (Nee Akande) to H.R.H Oba Gabriel Bawa Akerejola – Eminefo III of the Eminefo Royal Dynasty in Ogori, Ogoriland, now Kogi State in the middle belt region of Nigeria. Started my early life by living with my maternal grandmother at Onitsha in the Eastern part of Nigeria where she was engaged in petty trading offshore by the river side. My primary education started off here. I soon joined my Aunt – Mrs Florence Bose Mosimabale who was then a teacher in Kano the Northern part of Nigeria . There I continued my primary education and by 1969 when my father died I was taken back home – Ogori

                                                                

 

Education

At Ogori, I completed my primary education and thereafter proceeded to Federal Government College , Warri in Delta State then Bendel State of Nigeria . On completing the West African School Certificate Examination from FGC, Warri, I had a brief spell of working experience at Associated Ores Minning Company, Itakpe – Okene. I proceeded to read Purchasing & Supply Management at the Department of Marketing, Purchasing & Supply of the Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna and served the Nation (NYSC).

Career

edwin21I started another carrier in life with the Nigerian Tobacco Company Limited – a member of British – American Tobacco Company Limited when I gained employment to work with them as Management Trainee in March 1988. I worked in various capacities and various sections of Procurement Department until November 2000 when the company went into full merger with it's parent company British – American Company Limited and some of us opted out be on our own.

 

 

 

I was married to Racheal Taiwo (Nee Godis) with whom unfortunately death did us part in 1993. She was the mother of Mekane Enemiri Oladepe and who now resides with her mother's twin sister in Columbus , Ohio , USA . She is currently in her nineth grade in the college. Ijese Bose is the child I call the transition girl. The LORD blessed me with her as a consolation during the years of trauma that followed the loss of Taiye. She is presently in school at Sagamu in Ogun state, Nigeria .

edwinmarriageLater the LORD GOD blessed me with a wonderful lady, Miriam Tope (Nee Daudu) for whom my love multiplies every blessed day. She is the mother of Master Obinpilasha Teforubane and Ms. Omega Miberon both of whom are in preschool in Zaria , Kaduna State , Nigeria .

edwinbornI was born by Princess Grace Funmilayo Daudu (Nee Ekun) to Prince Fulani Peter Daudu of Ososo rulling home, Edo State of Nigeria . I attended Saint Lukes primary school in Jos Plateau State ; proceeded to Baptist High School for senior secondary school education where I obtained my West African Senior Certificate in Education. I then moved on to Nassarawa Polythecnic in Nassarawa State of the then Plateau State where I obtained an Ordinary National Diploma Certificate in Secretariat Management. I obtained a Higher National Diploma Certificate in same field of Management at Bauchi Polythecnic in Bauchi State . My main experience since graduation has been with the Ministry of Defence.

 

I worked at Command Secondary School , Jos for upwards of five years before I met the man that touched my heart – Prince Dehinde Edwin Akerejola in 1998. With him I am today happily married. This new marriage status saw me out of Jos and resulted to my movement and transfer to Nigeria Military School in Zaria , Kaduna State , Nigeria . The LORD has blessed this union with three kids, two boys and a girl.

 

Dehinde is also blessed with Ijese (daughter).
