Actively involved in public health and community medicine

Currently works as a Technical officer on a USAID funded project at Management Sciences for Health. Provides technical assistance for institutional capacity building of Civil Society Organizations and Government of Nigeria Public Sector Institutions.

    Previously worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) officer at Sustainable Healthcare Initiative (SHI) where she worked on Global Fund Malaria Elimination project.

    She planned, implemented, evaluated and reported on Malaria Elimination interventions and supported in the provision of immediate treatment and preventive measures and also sustainable local capacity building of health care workers.

  • She was also involved in collecting and analyzing data on the impact and effectiveness of health programs on communities through conducting surveys and researches.

  In 2011-2012, Abomo worked at Education as a Vaccine (EVA), where she was Program Coordinator on the HIV/AIDS prevention project among Out-of-School Youths.

·     She was involved in providing youths with correct and adequate information and services on HIV/AIDS prevention, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Adolescent Pregnancies and Maternal and Child Health.

Abomo has been trained on Leadership Development, Resource Mobilization, Fund Raising, Performance Based Financing, Monitoring and Evaluation and HIV/AIDS Peer Education. She is a qualified, dedicated and experienced public health professional with specialization in Monitoring and Evaluation, Project Management and Health Systems Strengthening.
